Here is a selection of fire photographs I took last year. I’m looking forward to building fires throughout the spring and summer this year and will probably do so with camera in tow. This recent spate of cold rainy weather has made me think back fondly to those warm nights around the fire.
Fire has also been a creative inspiration, thanks to the workshop I’ve been participating in this spring. I’m feeling a pull towards more artistic pursuits, and a feeling that maybe I can give such pursuits the time they deserve. I shall strive to keep up these habits (and share the fruits of them here!).
