My friend and I read this entry and it didn't take us long to realize that we happen to know the exact park your talking about. We live nearby, and have been hanging out in "The Oval," as our neighborhood fondly calls it, since we were little. We didn't build the fort you mentioned, but have made some others of our own, though they all seem to get destroyed after a year or so. It was cool to read about someone else's point of view on our favorite park! Hello there!
